Building a complete visual system for a literacy brand, from website to bookshelf

RGR needed a cover system for five literacy books across different grade levels, each distinct but unmistakably part of the same series.
02 — The challenge
Five books, one theme, five different grade levels. Each cover had to feel connected while standing on its own, with illustration complexity that grew alongside the grade.
The question wasn't what looks professional. It was what makes someone feel okay about taking the first step.
Research & Competitive Analysis
03 — The direction
Built a cover system first, establishing the visual logic before any illustration began. Then, we used NodeBase AI with art direction to generate illustrations that scaled in complexity across grade levels.

01 — Overview
RGR needed a redesigned digital presence, including a new landing page, marketing materials, and a complete photo library created from scratch using AI.
02 — The challenge
Too many colors, heavy gradients, no breathing room. And no photography at all. Visual clarity and a complete photo library both needed to be built from zero.
